Three Beautiful Things This Week

Three Beautiful Things This Week was inspired by a wonderful blog that Three Beautiful Things. Everyday, Clare writes about 3 Beautiful Things that happen each day in her life. It's a wonderful blog! I can only hope to imitate her in a very small way.

1) Almost ready for the show in a week!  Actually, I can hardly wait!  One of the great things about shows is that you get to meet so many interesting people!

2) Pixie was photobombed!  Isn't that cute?  I love the apps on my phone!  Pixie cuteness is fun!

3)  We had our first snow this week.  We were supposed to have a massive storm, but we ended up with less than an inch of snow.  I'm waiting for the "real" first snow, when there are huge snow flakes and, certainly, more than an inch. 
Wait!  Did I just say that???

Keep your fingers and toes crossed,
tonight is Pixie's last observation.
If she passes, then she will be a therapy dog!!!!

Pixie doesn't like her veggies.

Every night, I make Pixie's raw diet.

It sits in the refrigerator until morning.

In the morning, the raw meat has rehydrated and so have the veggies.

They are saturated in the liquid.

As you can see, the liquid and the meat is gone.

However, what is left are the,

you're right,

veggies.

I have to sprinkle a raw food powder on the veggies, and  then

Pixie will finish most of her veggies.

So, how does Pixie like her veggies?

Well, I can tell you how Pixie likes her sweet potatoes.

Add a little butter and some brown sugar, and

Pixie will eat an entire sweet potato!

That's my girl,

she knows what tastes the best!!

I think I'll have to try this with carrots, too!!!

For those who Have NEVER seen this Before...

See, she's standing, not laying down!

AMAZING!

We walked a mile today.  

Here's what happened when we got home.

She was tired and ready for her nap.

It was a little bit cool this morning!

Sleep well, sweet Pixie.

Sleep well.

And she did for the rest of the day!

Three Beautiful Things This Week

1) It's been another good week!  I have been able to torch almost everyday.  I have actually been happy with what has come out of the kiln.  I joined another exchange on Lampworketc.  It's been fun so far!  How can any of this be bad?

2) Saw my eye doc yesterday.  Things are progressing well with my eyes.  Even with my concerns, he said that everything is in the "normal" range.  That's good to know.  He said that everything will settle down in the next 3 weeks.  That is good to know.

3) Pixie has been trying to be the dominant person in our home.  She continues to try to steal my place in bed and on the couch and chairs.  I don't have to wrestle her into a submissive position, because, most of the time she's laying down, but I do have to smile when I grab her snout and say, "No," and then she does as she pleases anyway.  I honestly think she's part cat!!!  Don't let the dreamy eyes fool you!!!
