I Hereby Declare Today: Red Day!

I hereby declare today,
RED Day!
There are days, when it's dreary and ugly,
and
red lifts me up!
Isn't this pretty?
And
These beads were so much fun to make.
Let's take a closer look.
Red sugar beads!
Nummy!
Makes me want to eat them!
Here are some red spacer beads!
They remind me of the melting type of candy.
Can you tell, I'm hungry?
I never thought this purple would go with the red!
I love these flowers!
Ruffled discs anyone?
I love these colors together!
Hollows!
A truly zen bead for me to make!
The purple accents don't show as much in the photo as they do in better light.
Nummy!
These headpins are even more beautiful than I imagined they would be.
Guess what,
I love red!

Three Beautiful Things This Week

Three Beautiful Things This Week was inspired by a wonderful blog that Clare writes called Three Beautiful Things. Everyday, Clare writes about 3 Beautiful Things that happen each day in her life. It's a wonderful blog! I can only hope to imitate her in a very small way.

1) Even though our sunshine was classified as "non-productive," it was still sunshine and it was beautiful! Pixie lay in the sun soaking up the rays for such a long time, I thought she might get sunburned.

2) Life has a way of surprising the heck out of me! Some things happened this week, that I won't detail here, that truly left me saying, "Huh?" They were okay, but I did say, "Huh?"

3) My hairdresser asked me if I had lost weight. All right, I tipped her well, but that sure made my day!

Dreaming Bear on Etsy! Now, that is One FUN Store!

As I browsed through the Dreaming Bear,
I decided it was almost too hard to choose just a few things that I absolutely love!
Because I love them all!!!!!!
Here's what I mean.
Look at this painting.

Joyful, Happy, Grateful Flowers.
It's an original canvas.
Isn't it great!!!!
If you know me, you know I love color,
and the Dreaming Bear is so full of color!!
Like I said,I
it's hard to choose only a few items to showcase in this blog.
This
I Love You
ornament would make a wonderful gift for Valentine's Day!
It's also in Dreaming Bear on Etsy!
Isn't it bright and colorful!
I love it!

Tokens of Affection
and how sweet they are!
Wouldn't one of these be great when you are having a down day?
I know I'd love one!
See what I mean about having a hard time choosing just a few items to showcase?
And,
last, but not certainly least....
Magnets!
It's a set of 4!
Wow! I love! I love! I love!
So, don't hesitate to visit the Dreaming Bear.
You will be so glad you did.
The Dreaming Bear is a real day brightener.
You can also find Dori aka the Dreaming Bear at her

Bead Table Wednesday

Heather Powers of Humble Beads
started Bead Table Wednesday on her blog.
Click here to visit her blog.
The idea is to show your bead table on that day, no matter what it looks like.
Well,
I didn't show my bead table for the first couple of weeks because
IT LOOKED SO BAD!
I'm not talking about my table where I make jewelry,
I was thinking of showing my work table where I make lampwork beads.
That is in much better shape now,
but I won't be showing that table this week.
I will be showing what I have been working on this week.
Now, when you see the photo,
and for those of you who don't know,
in the dreary, dark, cold winters here,
I work on my bed.
That means it always has to be cleaned up,
so it doesn't look so bad.
In the summers I work outside,
and,
again, that means, I have to clean up when I am finished.
Back to the order of business here.
When you see what I have been working on this week, you will probably say,
"Doesn't look like she's done much."
Well, you are wrong.
I have been pondering.
I have been thinking.
I have been moving things around.
I have been working, and, I have accomplished more than you think.
First of all,
here I am, pondering.

See, I really have been pondering.
Now here's what I have been working on mentally, of course.

This is my Bead Soup Mix from Cindy Dolezeal.
Click here to take a look at her Etsy store.
Great stuff, right?
Well, I absolutely love what she sent me!
That leaf pendant is to die for, and if anyone things they are getting this from me,
well,
they will have to pry it out of my dying hands to get it.
Anyway,
I digress.
I want to show the pendant to be as beautiful as it truly is,
and,
I don't want anyone to be distracted from its beauty.
So,
right now,
I'm stuck.
I must ponder more.
Maybe, next week, there will be a sneak preview?
I'm not sure.
I must ponder.

One World One Heart - and it's the last one!

This final event of One World One Heart actually began at one minute before midnight on January 31st. As it has been lately, I am, again running late.

This event developed by A Whimsical Bohemian, is scheduled to be the last one at #5. So, if you have thought about participating go to the link and get going! I have participated in this event twice now, and it has been a great deal of fun. You do get to "meet" new friends in cyberspace. You might even win a prize!

Now, to introduce myself. I make lampwork beads. It's truly my passion in life! My prize is something that I made, especially for you. Do you want to see it? All right. I'll show you!

Since this is the final event,
I decided to make this gorgeous heart as my prize.
I wire wrapped it,
so it's ready for you to wear.
On February 17th,
I will choose a winner and announce that winner on the 17th.
Good luck to everyone!
I hope you win!!!!
I will use a random number generator to choose the winner.

So, what do you do to win?
It's very simple.

1) Leave a comment on this blog. You will also need to leave an email address so that I can contact you if you win.

So, it's time for fun.
Check out the other blogs, too, and enter there.
You have lots of chances to win many wonderful prizes!

Good luck!
