Finally! New to My Etsy Store, and There's Spring in the Air!

At last,
I've finally got my stuff together,
and
I've added some new items to my Etsy store.
Take a peek!
I love this key! It's so pretty. I used a silver enriched glass for the bead, and, yes, the bead slides up and down the key!

I call them Bumpsters! I love these little, dotted beads. They remind me of early spring!

These rich, jewel toned Bumpsters remind me of spring that is ready to ripen into summer!

These head pins/bead pins/ pod pins are my absolute favorite!
I can see these pod pins making some gorgeous wearings or as danglies in a necklace or bracelet!

These head pins/bead pins/pod pins are ready for summer! Remember summer? I know it's been a long winter, but what a magnificent way to brighten up your day!

Last, but not least, is Tweet! He's the first bird of spring! Oh, and that isn't bird poop coming out of his butt. It's just the string I used to tie this mini set together. Wouldn't this make a great, funky pendant for spring?

Well, that's all for now. I just need color! These beads have helped me!
Enjoy!

Three Beautiful Things This Week

Three Beautiful Things This Week was inspired by a wonderful blog that Clare writes called Three Beautiful Things. Everyday, Clare writes about 3 Beautiful Things that happen each day in her life. It's a wonderful blog! I can only hope to imitate her in a very small way.

1) I love finding small "treasures" that I put away so that I would know where they were then promptly forget where I put them. Later, I find these "treasures," and I am able to rejoice that I found them. This bead was one of the treasures that I found this week. I had put the box that contained this small treasure and others away. I honestly thought they were ugly. Now, I am looking at the beads with different eyes. They aren't ugly. They are beautiful! I am so happy to have found these beads! I often wonder, how many other, "small treasures" I will find when I clean out my special hiding places! I was thrilled!

2) A friend called me yesterday because she had been thinking about me. She called to say some very nice things to me about me. She said she felt that I needed lifting up. How right she was, it was just the lift I needed. I couldn't believe how wonderful it was to hear what she said to me about my bead making! My heart was soaring by the time we finished our conversation! Thank you!

3) Pixie has finally decided that in order to get an extra ear rub, she needs to go outside, not once, not twice, but five times in one morning! I watched her! The little sweetheart did her business the first two times, but the last three were just for show and to get those ear rubs that are her reward for being good! I thought it was sweet when she would come in and put her head on my thigh with her ears turned up for that ear rub. Of course, I knew she was faking, but she got her ear rubs anyway!!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Abundance

It's official!
We've had 80.5 inches of snow this season,
with more on the way,
today and early next week!
Our normal average is 44.5 inches.
We exceeded that amount in December when we got
36 inches of snow that month alone.
We really had a white Xmas!

Some of our snow has melted.
Some of our snow has been packed down by the weight of new snow.
We still have an abundance of snow.
Want to see?
Take a look at this!

Bead Table Wednesday - More on my table today, I mean yesterday, well you know what I mean!

She started it!
Heather Powers, I mean.
She started it!
What did she start?
Bead Table Wednesday!
What's on your bead table on Wednesday?
Since I usually write my blog the day before,
I'll just have to show you what was on my bead table yesterday.

Let's start with these beads.
I have been needing to sort these beads for a long time.
Pile #1: Beads for Beads of Courage
Pile #2: Beads to keep for give away and jewelry making.
Pile #3: Throw away.
This was my unsorted pile.
Now, I have beads for BOC, for me, and the garbage collection grew!

It's that pile of fabric, ribbons, organza, thread, needles, scissors, felt.
Since I am getting ready for a show this month,
I set the goal of 15 corsages
for the show.
I am proud to say,
I now have reached that goal!
The color really helped to boost my mood.

I, personally think, that these will be scattered all over my table to add some much needed color!
They are so much fun!
I absolutely love them!
They will be fun to wear!
I plan to wear one on the day of the show!
How fun!

So, that's what was on my bead table yesterday.
What's on yours today?

Meet Loriola, One of my 10,000 Favorite Lampwork Bead Makers! I Love Her Work!

Browsing through Lori's store is no easy task because I want to stop and shop until I drop with each item.
It's going to be tough, but someone has to do it!
I love her work, and I am the proud owner of some of her bones.
You'll see what I mean later.
This heart is one of my favorites in Lori's shop.
She calls it Frozen Heart Iced Blueberry!
Love it!
Even though I am really, really, really sick of winter in Minnesota,
I'd still wear this heart.
It's so beautiful!

Here's Lori's little birdie.
It's been publicly copied, but never duplicated.
Isn't it sweet?
You can order it in many different colors.
Just be sure to read the description.

Lori's Silvered Heart Healing is another of my favorites!
It's been so hard to get off the first page when you know there are so many other fabulous items in her store!
When you check out Lori's store,
be sure to go beyond the first page, okay?

Here's one of Lori's famous bones.
They really are famous, too!
She calls this one Encrusted Bone.
Isn't it awesome?
Look at the Toggle Clasp.
Isn't that the greatest?
What a wonderful detail to add!
My necklace looks very similar.
I love it!

Talk about gorgeous acorns!
This is absolutely beautiful!
Lori is a fantastic bead maker,
and
her work shows her love of bead makings!
All I can say is WOW!

All right, this was just a brief tour of Lori's (Loriola on Etsy) store.
Take your time when you tour Lori's store.
You won't be disappointed!
