I'm Joining "Kater's Acres" in her Challenge to Make Something each week!

Although, Polymer Clay is not the only medium in which I work, right now, it is the main medium.  Sadly, I haven't fired up my torch for months. 

So, anticipating another hiatus from my torch in 2015, I am joining Kater's Acres Polymer Clay Challenge.  That challenge is to produce on finished project a week.  I will post a blog about each project.

The Christmas Wreath, Free Wreath Tutorial, Why I Love Pink, and 23 days until Christmas!!

Of course, it had to be pink!  This has been the year of the pink!  This is my Christmas wreath, and it hangs on the front door welcoming our guests for the holidays.

This particular wreath took me about ten minutes to make.  Here's how I did it.

Tutorial:  I bought a preformed wire wreath that had silver bits of tinsel hanging off the wires.  These helped to secure the different parts of the wreath.

I used about 12 yards of ribbon to wrap the wreath.  I had to make two cuts in the ribbon because I didn't cut enough the first time.  I secured the ribbon on to the base with the tinsel thingies on the base.

I added flowers and picks and secured them with the tinsel thingies on the wreath.  I pulled some of the thingies out to add a bit of glitter to the wreath. 

And it was done. 

Notice how it matches my hair?

Listing Saturday::

Thanksgiving is over.

We have lots of leftovers.

The Hoffman Family Xmas Tree is up.

We had a great time at our Thanksgiving Celebration.

I thought we had been getting together for 25 years.  Turns out it was 22 years.  Oh, well, we near the quarter century mark.

I'm getting ready for a big show this weekend. 

I'm going in with a lot of polymer clay items.

I drove Nick to the airport and came home in freezing rain.

My wrist is aching.

I haven't been sleeping a lot. 

I need to do MORE dishes!

Now, I need to get organized for the show.

I'm worn out.

I'm dozing on the computer.
