Hi Mallory, I think it's everything together the eyes certainly are important, but the position of the head makes a difference too- as well as your color combinations.

I agree with Marcy - the eyes say a lot and how the head is tilted does, too. Also, with the eyes, smaller or larger pupils can change the critter's look from surprised and scared to sweet and friendly.
ReplyDeleteI love your turtles, Mallory! There's a ton you can do with them - add some of your murrini! Also, how about penguins?
