Wrapping Up an Exchange

The time has finally come.
The exchange will be over at the end of the month,
but with some of the concerns about packages taking so long to mail,
I decided it was time to put my beads in the mail to Irene.
Since the beads I made were hollow beads.
They also had fins and tails,
all of which could be broken without good packing,
I had to be very careful.
I lined the bottom of the box with bubble wrap,
then I wrapped each bead.
One bead is going to be sent to Beads of Courage.
I found a small box for each bead.
I lined each box with bubble wrap.
I added a business card,
then I wrapped each package with more bubble wrap.
I added one more layer of bubble wrap to the top of the box.
Whew!
Now if those beads don't get there safely and unbroken, I don't know what I'll do!
The box you see is the box that will be returned to me.
I have to go to the post office and have postage put on the inside box and the outside envelope!
I don't mind!  It's all part of the exchange!
This is the box that will be mailed back to me with my trade beads.
It's a beach theme!
I'm anxious to see them.
I'm mailing the box and the beads in an envelope!
I can hardly wait!

  1. I'm with you if after all that bubble wrap and one still breaks! I am sure they will arrive safe and sound.
