1)When I was in 3rd grade, I was the last hope for the 3rd grade to win the spelling bee at school. I lost it all for the 3rd graders! I misspelled citizen by adding an “e” at the end. I hung my head in shame.
2)I had a dog name Rex.
3) I had a cat name Pinky.
4)I had invisible friends named: Foo Foo, Kastrina, and Drinkwater when I was 4.
5)I learned to read at age 4. My much older next door neighbor taught me. She was in the 2nd grade!
6)When we played school, I had to be the teacher even though all of my friends were older.
7)I used to play the piano very well.
8)When I was in 5th grade, I wanted to be a nun.
9) When I was in 6th grade, I discovered boys. I no longer wanted to be a nun.
10) I had my first poem published in a high school anthology when I was in 5th grade.
Though 10 was most impressive, 8 and 9 made me smile :)
ReplyDeleteYup, number 8 and 9 didn't surprise me...made me laugh too. That photo reminds me of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. You had cute braids.
