It's back to crocheting for now.
One of the things I love about
Minnesota
are the nights that become cool
early in the season.
These cool nights are
harbingers of the promise of fall
and
winter to come.
Since it's still summer,
technically,
and
fall is on the way,
I wanted to make a lighter weight shawl to wear on the cool evenings.
I found this pattern on
I do like this site,
however,
when this site links to the
"home site" of the pattern,
"home site" of the pattern,
many of these sites have adds that you have to navigate.
That I don't like.
When adds block me,
I leave the site and never return.
As always, though, with crochet patterns,
or, at least,
most of the time,
I make a few changes in the pattern.
I realized, as soon as I started, that this pattern was not going to be big of a shawl as was seen in the photo.
I couldn't find the yarn in the photo, so, I went to my
go to color of pink!
I'm adding a few rows, here and there, and maybe, in the end, more than I planned.
I used a fingering weight yarn.
I think I'm going to love this shawl.
You'll see it when it's finished.
If you are a crochet person,
you might want to look it up!
It's great.
Good luck!!!
See you soon.
I'm thinking that pink shawl is going to be mighty pretty!
