Challenge of Color - Purple and Day 5 of the Virtual Craft Show

Purple
That was the color I asked for--purple.
Little did I know that I would be given the color purple, but I would be given a design pallate
that would push me a bit over the edge.
From Design Seeds.

I love purple, but the vision I had of purple was very different from this.
So,
I just wanted you to know, you did challenge me, and
I'm so happy your did!
Thank you!

I knew I would need a very special focal, so I fired up the torch.
Well, the first focal I made just didn't quite do what I wanted it to do,
so,
the next time I torched,
I let the glass do what it wanted.

This time,
a flower was born.

The next challenge came in deciding how to accent this focal.
I looked at the colors.
Made a few more beads, then,
this happened.

Three layers of beads, pearls, and crystals gathered together to adorn this flower!
Now,
I love it!!

Miss Mallory! You did an amazing job! Not only did you get the colors but the inspiration photo as well (secretly I almost saved that one for me! Pansies are my favorite flower!). This is just lovely and I am glad that I was able to push you into the deep end of color with this palette! Thank you for taking on the challenge of color with me!
Enjoy the day.

I love that focal flower. And your piece is gorgeous with all the other beads you made and added in. Isn't it great all the different hues in a palette? I had purple, too and my palette was totally different. Wonderful job.
