I am Really Stuck on Red!

I've always loved red!
As I looked through my Etsy store, the other day,
I realized
I AM STUCK ON RED!
Red.

I love this color combination:
red and purple!

I love this
I covered it with my silvered ivory shards.
They tone down the Red, but it's still Red!
This Strawberry is
RED!
I know, strawberries, unless they are dipped in chocolate, are red!

Then there's
Splatt is based on red!

So, now that I realize this,
I need to make beads in different colors,
what would you suggest?

I'm just stuck on red!
(And if you look around my Etsy store, you'll find a lot more red.)
Help!

And then there were Seven!

This started out with 13 beads stuck on a mandrel.
Thirteen must be my lucky number!
Slowly but surely, they are being worked off the mandrels.
Of the 13, I am anticipating that I might loose 2-3 of the stuck beads, if all goes well.
As I write this, the last 7 beads are in the freezer again.
I'm glad I have extra time on my hands right now.
The beads that were on the mandrels might have been smashed.
These mandrels are beat up, and they should be!
I'm hoping to be more gentle with the others, but maybe not.
So, it's 6 down and seven to go!
Stay tuned for more mandrel drama!

Sigh!

I've made 3 hearts like this.
Each one is stuck on the mandrel.
I don't know why.
Sigh!
I like them, too!

Getting Stuck

Well, it happened today.
I got stuck.
I'm getting ready for a show,
and
I got stuck!
I had the wire and tools out.
I looked and nothing happened.
My tool boxes were opened and ready for work.

The box of wire was ready to go.
The heavy duty tools were ready for work.
But I was stuck, so I started to doodle.
So, it's weird.  So I tried another one.
All right, I like this one better.
I'm not sure, but I still might be stuck, so we shall see
Hopefully,
tomorrow will be a better day!
This was fun, even if I'm not unstuck.
It was good to try my drawing again.

When life Hands You a Flood

Laugh!

After I finished crying, and as the situation got worse because they couldn't unclog the clog, I started to laugh. The technician was supposed to get here at 8 AM, but because his truck wouldn't start, he got here at 8:30 AM. Not bad. He started to work on the clog as soon as he got here. It's now 3:55 PM. A supervisor is here working, too. I am hoping that the work will be finished soon. I started laughing after the tech was late. Something told me that this wouldn't be easy! Here are the photos. Stay tuned. More drama to follow later!

This is the drain that's clogged. I thought the water was clean. Oooops, I was wrong. This drain leads to the sewer.

This is a closer view of the drain. The water is all over the floor. You just can't see it.

The water spilled over into the adjoining store room. There's only a wall that separates the laundry room from the store room.

These are some of the tools the techs were using and still are.

I don't think you can see the steam coming off of the rug I hauled outside. It's 10 degrees. No wonder this wet rug is steaming.

I dragged the rugs and laundry outside through the "shop." What I didn't realize is that the dripping water froze as it went outside the door.

This is where the water dripped outside of the door. It really did freeze! I had to use snow melt on the ice. I hope I have enough!

Well, that's where this is at so far. More to follow later!
