Sigh! More Drama!

I can't sell this beautiful bracelet.
As you know, I have become addicted to beaded kumihimo.
I made this bracelet using daggers.
I love it!
I want to sell it, but I can't.
Oh, here's the bracelet.
Know why I can't sell it?
The bracelet is too heavy.
The clasp that I fashioned using my lampwork beads opens.
It won't stay closed.
Sigh.
I'm not sure what I will do with this, but it has to be made again.
I will be taking it apart.
Should I make it into a necklace or rework it into a bracelet with fewer daggers?
What do you think?

It really depends on what you want. If you do a bracelet or a necklace, I'd try at least two of the strands with seed beads. Depending on where you place them, you could get a great swirl effect, which could be very dramatic as a necklace...

I think this would make a great centerpiece for a necklace. Add some chain or leather cord to the ends and thereyou go. No need to remake it, as I like it very much.

I'll bet that looks and feels gorgeous on..decadence in daggers and color. It looks like a capaccino..
Personally, I would hunt and experiment until I found just the right clasp for it..and you know what that means if you never trust it enough to sell it,right??
Score. :-))

Oh! That is a tragedy. I love this. The movement, the colors. I would say make another one but turn this one into a necklace. That would be a better challenge. One that you can still enjoy and not have to mourn for ripping it all out. And now you know so you have learned from it! Enjoy the day. Erin

How about using a different style clasp? Pick up some of the cord ends that you glue the cord into and then use a toggle or a fancy lobster clasp?
