Jenny and I went to Babani's for Lunch

Babani's is a Kurdish restaurant in St. Paul. It's near where Jenny lives, so we were able to take in the atmosphere of the restaurant and enjoy a fabulous lunch there while I was in the Twin Cities for the Bead Bazaar. This small restaurant is full of the culture of the Kurds. The food is exceptional! I took a lot of photos while we were there. The only thing I forgot to do was to take photos of our food! Ummmmm! Nummy. Be sure to check out the link where you will learn more about the history of the restaurant and family who started it. Babani's was the first Kurdish restaurant to open in the United States. This is the view of Babani's when you walk in. After you look at this, scroll down. I won't be talking, I'll just be showing you how fabulous this place really is!

Of all the things, I forgot to take photos of the food. I ordered Chicken Tawa which is a lemony chicken dish. DD ordered a vegetarian dish. They were both delicious!

Oh,..it just looks glam place to eat. Let's see - close by I have Mickeys, Burger King, and Subway. Uh, no ethnic. Sometimes it's so boring. Wish I was there to enjoy with you and Jenny.

hi, this looks fantastic, I really enjoy foreign food....
Re the picture - sure you can use it - feel free to show it any time you like. For the etsy store, give me until next week - I need to upload more things, and the baby is sick right now so I won't get a lot done. Thanks a ton though.
