1) Isn't it great when you get a phone call from a friend you haven't visited with in a long time. The best thing is that we can talk, and it's just like it was yesterday!
2) I'm so grateful for air conditioning! It's been so hot, and I am now ready for fall! I hope that fall comes a wee bit early this year, and I hope that it's a long one!
3) Pixie makes me laugh. She usually howls when the sirens go off. This week I was able to catch it on video. What was funny was that she didn't lift her head! She's such a sweet, lazy girl!

Thank goodness for your timely appreciation of things small and beautiful! Even when I don't comment, you always provide a bright moment in my day, Mallory. Your sweet puppy looks really distraught, doesn't she? Bet she enjoys the AC at least as much as her humans.
Oh I couldn't agree more, I cannot wait till fall. That's my favorite season along with spring. I hate summer and winter they're too extreme for me :)
