After the Snow

From Church to Home.  This is what I saw, after the snow

Someone wrote her name in the snow.

The neighborhood was blanketed in a gentle blanket of snow.

The roads were much better today.  The snow had stopped falling.

The hill looked beautiful!!!

The road in the neighborhood was snow packed, so I had to be careful, but the sun shown on the crystal diamonds.

Snow frost!  The trees need no other decorations!

 The view from on top of the hill was amazing!

It's Amazing!  The plants are still green!

Getting Ready for the Blizzard

We're not supposed to get much snow--an inch to an inch and a half, but we are supposed to get strong winds to go with the snow.  That's why we have a blizzard warning.

As I write this, the snow has started to fall and the winds are picking up. 

I have food.
I have good reading materials.
I have lots of glass to melt. (If it's not too cold, I'll do some melting during the storm.)
I have to charge up my computer, Ipad and Iphone.  Okay I can do that.
Warm blankets on the bed.
Will I even change out of my jammies tomorrow.  (Yes, I'm writing this yesterday.  The photo is one I took during our last storm.)
Pixie has food and treats.
We're ready for our day.
I know I'll enjoy my lazy day.  I hope you enjoy yours!

We Interupt This Blog to Bring You Our Storm

Just thought you'd like to see the storm that just passed through our city.
The air is much less humid now.
The windows and doors are open again!

I thought we were through with winter.

Guess I was wrong. Look what's coming down now as I write. We're supposed to get 1-4 inches. We'll have wind gusts up to 40 mph. We're going back down to below zero tonight. I'm sick of this!
