So, what happened to you this week?

I have decided that I need to look at this event as a very interesting learning experience.  It's given me knowledge for the future.  I've never had it happen before.

The story begins when I decided that it was time to wash the winter woolies out of the bedding.  After all, the windows have been open, and it was quite warm.  Pixie was willing to take off her thunder shirt.  The time had come!!!

I started early, and I ended late.  Bedding is bedding, and it just takes a while to dry.  The last load were the pillows.  I put them in the washer.  The washer stayed balanced.  There were no annoying buzzers going off.

I went downstairs to transfer my pillows to the dryer.  Imagine my shock when I found a bin full of fluff.  I had inside out pillows!  The covers were torn, and the contents were all over the washer.  There is no fluff alarm!  I wish I had taken a photo to show you, but, I didn't think of it.  This is all that was left.  My inside out pillows are in the trash.  Sigh!  I really loved those pillows!

I have a dog that likes to do that to my pillows...the only problem is the fluff is not contained but rather spread all over the room.lol!

I'd say the casing on your pillows just got tired of being dizzy in the spin cycle ;)

OH NO! Time for some cushy pillows and chemical-free dry-cleaning.

LOL - Pirate Mallory has now defluffed her pillows. Time to shop for new pillows. I'm always afraid I'm going to do this to mine and I too love me some pillows.
