I'm Grateful For...

Before the holiday rush begins, I know that I need to stop and think, to ponder and appreciate all that I have been given. What is the saying? "Tomorrow is the future, Yesterday is the past, and Today is the present?" I know that's not exactly correct, but it helps to remind me that everything is a gift, a present, so to speak. (I know that's not correct either, but it's close enough!)

All right, here's the start of my list.

My children
My dog
My family
My friends
Those who have been in life but now are gone. I miss those who have died or just drifted away, but I am so grateful for the memories!
My lava lamp ---------------------------------------------------------------->
Glass, I love it!
The ability to use my 5 senses.
My health.
My home
Angels
fabric
My torching slippers! (I couldn't make beads without them!)
The holidays
Rain
Sleep.........
And the list goes on.

Help me with this list, please! Share some of the things that are on your gratitude list.

This is a great list! I agree with everything. I would also add creativity as it is such a wonderful thing that we all have within us.

I'm thankful for the little people snuggles I get every morning as my children are waking up. For the friendships I hold close, even though most of those friends are spread across the country. For my family and the love we have for each other. And of course my torch :D

Definitely grateful for all wonderful online friends!!! I love visiting your blogs and seeing what you are up to.
What a great idea, to compile this list before the holiday rush when it's so hard to slow down!!

Good Morning, This is a wonderful post. I really appreciate that you would remind us all to remember what we do have and what we really need and should be grateful for. It has been a very long painful year for my family but I am working on a brighter future. May you have a very happy, healthy, successful holiday season and new year to come.
sincerely, Lynn McGinnis
