On Thanksgiving, our "extended" family gathers at one home or another to celebrate
the day.
With an adult table for those of us who are over, well, let's say, those of us who are the parents
of the adult children,
and
a table for the children,
and now,
children of the children,
we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving.
We eat the meal that took hours to cook.
We talk.
The children run and play.
The men gather to watch the game on TV.
The women do the dishes and wonder why.
We sort out the left overs.
Then, everyone goes home to
nap and watch more TV.

Looks perfect!
This is such a wonderful post. Your family looks like a fun and loving bunch.

Those bling-pink tennis shoes always make me smile, no matter what! I really enjoyed the Thanksgiving celebration description, especially the part about how to divide the tables... isn't it funny how the "kids" can be in their 30's and 40's and 50's?
Thanks for sharing the pics of your kiddos and the Pixie Princess, too. Just being with family is a celebration!
What a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving!
Puppy's do seem to understand the concept of celebrate better than people - though your family seems to have a fab grasp on it!
The shoes are lovely, my daughter immediately asked if they were available here!
Sounds like the perfect day. I love Pixie. I rescued two greyhounds and they're the best dogs I ever had.
That pup with the bunny ears makes me giggle! Thank you for sharing your everyday celebrations! Enjoy the day. Erin
A fine celebration indeed!!!
