Three Beautiful Things This Week
Three Beautiful Things This Week was inspired by a wonderful blog that Clare writes called Three Beautiful Things. Everyday, Clare writes about 3 Beautiful Things that happen each day in her life. It's a wonderful blog! I can only hope to imitate her in a very small way.
1) Yes, the temperatures have cooled off a lot here in Southern Minnesota, but the sunshine has returned, and we have warmed up to more pleasant temperatures in the afternoon. This was one cold, rainy morning. At least, there has been no measurable snow yet. I'm very happy with that.
2) I won a blog give away sponsored by Andrew Thornton! I won 3 amazing lampwork beads made by Faith Davis Ferris! Thank you Andrew and Faith!
3) I found out that sooner, not later, I am going to need a new knee. My doctor told me that when I can't take the discomfort any more to call him, and I'll be visiting an orthopedic surgeon. The good news is that it could be worse, and I think I have time to adjust to this idea. The other good news is that the "knees" that are available now work very well. Thank heavens, it will only be one knee at a time.

Oh, do the knee replacement soon as you can! I've heard from my dad's older cousins that they are very happy they did it and wish they'd done it sooner.
Enjoy your sunshine today!
My dad might have to have an orthroscopic knee surgery. He is trying shots right now to see if that works.
Thanks for always sharing your three beautiful things, Mallory. I enjoy them so (Clare's too).
I just decided to start a little personal blog called Something Good In Every Day. I am always finding my 'something good' and someone suggested that I should keep a journal. So that is what I intend to do.

Enjoy the day!

Erin, I want to check your new blog out. I love your attitude and how positive you are.
Ang, I'm thinking I'll do it sometime in 2011. I just have to find the right time for recovery. There's just so much I want to do in 2011, and, right now, my knee isn't bad. I know how painful it could be.
We'll see.
You impress me to list the "knee" news in your three beautiful things list. I may need one sooner or later too and I am so not looking forward to it. Good luck.
