The world woke up white today. It's actually quite lovely. The heaviest snow is supposed to fall this afternoon. We've just had periods of snow on and off since last night.
Here's another view.
If you look beyond the trees, you can see the city of Mankato.
Oh, the carrier for our local newspaper didn't make the curve on my driveway today. So much for the birdbath.

I wish I could spend one day in your world playing in the snow and making snow angels. : ))
I love snow....as long as I can stay home by the fireplace with my fuzzy slippers and a blanket! :)
Aw, I do hope the birdbath can be stuck back together or used some other way. Bet that scared the newspaper carrier...of course, if you had any ice, then the carrier had probably already had plenty of little scares. Your pictures do a great job of capturing the feel of a cold day, Mallory! I'm sitting here shivering and thinking about finding my fuzzy socks and blankie.
Ang, I don't even think the carrier knew he hit the bird bath. These carriers like to speed through my driveway like it's the Indy 500, and yesterday, only the straight part of the driveway was shoveled. In order to make the curves, the drive without stopping on my lawn. Dorks!
