Pom Poms! Yes, you heard that correctly, Pom Poms and they are fun.
This pile of pom poms started out to be a garland for Christmas, however, there was change. With a little twisting and turning, these pom poms, when attached to the crocheted cord became, and are you ready for this? They became a scarf!
This was fun to wear at the GSR fine art show today. Now, I'm going to make this scarf again, in different colors and make scarves for my Etsy store.
I was sitting under a vent, and it was a bit cool. When I put my scarf on, it was nice and warm.
The scarf is full of drama and fun! How you drape the scarf distributes the pom poms and each drape gives you a different look. Fun!
You can make these pom poms in any color or color combination that you like.
Pom poms are easy to make.
Isn't this fun?
Garland or scarf? You get to decide.
Look for this soon in my Etsy store.

An Easy Peasy Knotted Scarf Tutorial
I realized this weekend that it has been a while since I posted a tutorial on this blog.
So, since I have been making these,
I decided to share with you
how I make them.
This tutorial came about because I looked at the amount of leftover
yarns that I have in my closet.
These scarves can be made as thick or thin scarves. I make thin scarves for the spring and fall.
Love them!
This scarf will be right in the middle.
I cut 14 strands of yarn approximately 3 yards long.
Fold the yarn strands in half and tie a knot in the middle of the yarn.
Next tie another knot on each side of the middle knot.
These are about 6 inches apart.
I use the palm of my hand for a measurement.
On my hand, from thumb to pinky, I measure about 6 inches.
Continue tying knots in the yarn until you have about 8 inches of yarn left at the end.
To make this an "Infinity" scarf, knot the two ends together leaving about two inches of length.
If you don't want an infinity scarf, finish the last knots 6 inches from the other ones.
Ta-da! In about 15 minutes, you have a new scarf to accessorize your wardrobe, and, you have used up some more of your leftover yarns.
Have fun!!

How to Make a Scarf in under twenty Minutes - Easy Peasy
I love wearing scarves.
Since I fell and conked my head on the ice,
I have developed areas on my neck that show the blood draining.
I decided to cover those areas up with a scarf.
Here's a quick and easy way to make one in under twenty minutes.
Here's what you need.
You need 1/4 yard of fabric. I like to use knits that don't ravel.
You need thread, needle, and a pair of scissors.
Knot your thread and stitch the edge of the fabric across to the end.
Pull the thread to gather the fabric into a rosette.
Knot the thread.
Wrap the thread around the rosette and make two knots to hold the fabric.
Woo Hooo!!!
You're done.
You have a new scarf in less than 20 minutes!
