Needle Felting - I'm going to like it, I think!

With Jenny's stem cell transplant coming up,
and knowing that I would not be making glass beads for a while,
I knew I'd have to find something to keep me busy.
Marcy Lamberson suggested that I try needle felting.
She told me it was easy to do and transportable.
She even shared with me where she buys her supplies on Etsy--
So, I ordered this,
I think I'm going to like it.
Everything I needed came in this box, from the roving to the needle.

It is easy to do, and I can easily carry the entire kit in my bag.

The only thing I need to remember is to be more careful

because when the ball slips, the needle can plunge into your finger.
Like
OUCH!
I do think, however, I'm going to like this very much!

Marcy is a sweetheart. Felting is so much fun and once you get the hang of it you will love creating with this medium.

You're so right, Nicole, about Marcy. She is an angel! I think this will be fun, and it will keep the creative juices going.

Maybe you better glue the foam piece down to piece of foam core that is a little larger than your foam before you look like a pin cushion. If your mail is getting forwarded you can play with some fimo too. ((Hugs))

I'm sticking (no pun intended) to felting knitted things. Working with glass brings enough hazards, I like my other outlets to be safe and sane. Good luck with remaining as prick-free as possible!
