Making Beads for Beads of Courage

If you are not familiar with
please check out their website to learn more.
In a nutshell,
Beads of Courage
is an organization that helps children who are going through serious illnesses
by providing beads, both purchased and artisan made,
to recognize their strength and their progress in their healing journies.
Each bead the children earn
marks their progress.
Each bead is distinctive and marks a particular event in their treatment.
As they say on their website,
"Every bead tells a story of strength, honor, and hope."
My box is ready to go.

This box will be in the mail on Monday.
Here's a sampling of what is in the box.

There are purple hearts for the children.
There are butterflies for the parents who have lost children.

There are some cupcakes.

There are some very sturdy fish for the children.

There are lots of hearts.

Here's a group shot of what I made in my last BOC torch session!
It felt good.
Thank you Beads of Courage for all you do for the children.

This is so great what you are doing. I think that it is a wonderful way to share your love of beads with these children who are so brave. Enjoy the day!

Doesn't it feel so good! What a great selection of beads you are providing for BOC. The children will love the personalities each one has. They are beautiful. What you are doing is beautiful.

I am familiar with BOC having donated 'destash' beads many times and hope that others will take a moment and check out the web link you've provided.
