Shameless Self Promotion and a Reveal.

I've got some beads in my Etsy store that I really like!

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I made this set of pink beads. These beads help me to flow into a zen state of mind. I love to encase beads! These beads fill that need for me. You can see them here.

Aren't these amazing beads? They are truly some of my favorites right now. The colors really pop, and, again, they send me into a zen state. Love them. You can see them here.

I almost forgot I had these zen stones in my shop! They are so smooth and soft. Touch them, and they can sooth a frazzled soul! See them here.

At last, some of my favorite beads, the lizard beads! I love this little guy. I used a lot of layering to make the bead, then I added the lizard. You can see it here.

Now for the reveal. I am almost at the 400 sales mark in my Etsy store. My 400th sale is going to get a special surprise in their package! Stay tuned. More to come later!

Self Promotion is a Good Thing, Too!

I've been listing a few more sculptural items in my Etsy Store. This is Pearl, and she's a fairly new listing. It's that time of the year! I think of the ocean and beaches. Who knows, you might really see a mermaid floating on the current!

People are telling me how much they love my little girls. I do, too, but I knew I had to get a guy in there. Here he is:
Mullet Man! He's come to save the day!

Check out the listing to see his cute, little tush!

This is one of my favorite little sculptures!

I titled her:
I Carry You in My Heart.

Isn't she a dear? I really like this little girl a lot!

Well, that's about it right now. Check back next week for something new and exciting in my store. At least, I hope it's next week. It might be a bit longer. I hope not, but, we'll see!

Shameless Self Promotion TuesDay!

Free Shipping in my Etsy store until Mother's Day or around that time. It all depends on when I remember to change it back. The only items where I can't offer free shipping, and I wish I could, are on mandrels!

This-------------------------------->
is a new item in my store. It's a flower button. It's glass. It's lampwork, and it's beautiful! I can see this used on a felted purse! Wouldn't that be beautiful? In the winter, you could move the button to a scarf! I think that would be wonderful!

How about a skull-------------->
with a red hat?
Remember the red hatters of a couple of years ago? Could this be a red hatter who wanted to be buried with her hat? I think she'd be fun being worn as a pendant or added to a red hat!

Need some bright and colorful headpins? Here's a dozen brightly colored headpins. I made them using 20 gauge copper wire. The wires are about 4 inches long. They'd be great for earrings or small pendants. I have to make some with 18 gauge wire. Those would be ideal for your larger pendants.

I added this murrini recently. It's made with Magic glass by Reichenbach. It's their equivalent of raku glass in coe 104. Someone just convo'd me on Etsy suggesting that she would be interested in purchasing some murrini, if she could see some photos of the murrini being used! Yikes! I'm not good at applying and using murrini, but you can bet your buttons, I am going to do that now!

Well, enough for now! Enjoy your Tuesday. Free shipping ends after Mother's Day or as soon as I remember to change it!

Shameless Self Promotion SaturDay!

Let's go to the beach today! I'm starting to feel the call of spring and SUMMER! What do you need to enjoy summer? I love the ocean! I never get there, so I have to be content with shells and fish. These items are now in my Etsy store.

This Ocean Blue shell was made from stained glass!
------------------------------------>
It's a different experience melting stained glass. It's more gooey and viscous. The results can be surprising, I've heard, but so far, so good!

Meet Alex the Wall Eyed Fish! He really wants a new home! Look at how bright and colorful he is. He'd look great as an ornament on a desk or as a pendant. He'd love being the center of attention!

This was my first shell that I made using stained glass. I love the fritted, marbled effect of the glass.
------------------------------------->
It's called Mystic Green Shell. It's nummy!

Here's Kiss A Me Fish. He'd like a new home, too! I love his lips!
------------------------------------>

All right, enough of me. Do you have something you want to show off? Leave a link in the comments to your item! Thanks for looking! I can hardly wait for the summer months of sand and sun!

Shameless Self Promotion SaturDay!

Did you know I carry lampworking supplies in my Etsy store? To see them all on one page, go to the category: Lampwork Supplies
or just use this link.

I carry these shards that I blew myself. I really like them. They are so pretty.
I have two other types of shards. If you like shards like I do, you might like these.

I also carry mandrels.
They are cut and ground with my own hands. They are 316L stainless steel. I use them myself, and I can attest to their quality.

I carry the 1/16" mandrels.
I carry the 3/32" mandrels.
I also carry the 1/8" mandrels.
I am hoping to carry the pandora sized mandrels soon. I need to find a more efficient way to cut them. It takes a long time with a coping saw!

I also carry frit for lampworking.
For my non glass friends, frit is ground glass that you melt into your bead as you make it. I have some that are destash frits. I just have way too much! Or the most popular:
Chalcedony by Gaffer Glass.

Well thanks for looking at this ad. I hope you enjoyed my quick tour of my lampwork supplies. I hope to add more as the season continues.

Shameless Self Promotion SunDay!

I have these earrings listed in my Etsy store. These earrings are called: Evening Out. I liked these so much, I even made a pair of these earrings for myself. Wow! I love them!

I call these earrings "Drama Queen." They are really full of passion and drama! My photos honestly don't do them justice! They are fun and lovely to wear.

I made these earrings using beads I found in a necklace sold in the thrift store. I call them Granny's Coral Pods. Love 'em! Love 'em! Love 'em!

These earrings have a simple, to the point name: Handmade Asymmetrical Lampwork Chalcedony Earrings. Simple but elegant! Go ahead. Check out my store! There's a lot more there!

Shameless Self Promotion and bits of information

Bits of Information:

Today is the last day to enter the OWOH (One World One Heart) drawing. Tonight, I will draw the name of the winner. With any luck, one of my children will be able to choose the winner, but that remains to be seen. Tomorrow, I will post the winner's name. I will try to contact the winner. If I do not get a response from the winner in 2 days, I will draw another name. How does that sound? I hope to get the heart to it's new home very quickly.

I am going to get my act together and post the lava lamp entries--hopefully tomorrow, too, but I'm not sure about that yet. I just hope so!

All right, enough of that. Now for the shameless self promotion!
Here are some items that are in my 3 different online stores.

This bracelet is in my Etsy store. I call it: Natural Neutral Organic Handmade Lampwork Bead Bracelet
Take a peek! It's in the jewelry section of my store.

The name of this button is Cupcake Anyone? It's in my 1000Markets store.

This brightly colored heart is in my Artfire store. I call this heart: COLORS AND COLORS HANDMADE LAMPWORK HEART PENDANT.

All right, it's over. Check back tomorrow to see the Challenge entries. Remember, I will post the winner in the OWOH promotion on the 12th.
