Today's Mail

My snail mail usually comes between 11 Am and 12:15 PM everyday, rain or shine. Today was no exception, even though it was HOT and HUMID! I'm not complaining about the weather. I still remember last winter, so you won't hear me complain about the HEAT. Anyway, back to the mail. I heard Spike barking as he always does when he sees the mail truck. I looked out the window, and sure enough, the mail truck was driving away. Don't get me wrong, I really do enjoy receiving mail, both snail mail and email. I welcome it! I don't like the bills, of course, but they are mail. On my computer, when I receive junk mail and spam, I simply remind myself as I delete the messages, they ARE mail. Well, with snail mail, you can't delete the junk mail. You have to shred it or rip it into itsy, bitsy, tiny pieces and throw it away or recycle it. Don't tell my daughter, but I throw my junk mail away. I don't recycle it! Oh, no! I was off the topic again, wasn't I.? We were talking about today's mail. When I went to the mailbox to get my mail, I pulled everything out and went through it. I was so incredibly disappointed! Every single piece of mail was junk mail! I went through it twice just to be sure. I wasn't wrong. Take a look at the photo, and you'll see what I mean. Then I went upstairs to check my email. My spam folder was empty, but my inbox was full of, you got it, SPAM. Some days you can' t win.

Hey, at least you got a Harbor Freight catalog to browse for tools! I hate junk mail, too, except for all the catalogs my mom gets. Those are fun to browse. Here's hoping you get some interesting mail tomorrow :)

Oh dear Mallory! I'd kill (or at least hire a hit man) for a Harbour Freight Catalog! You want to see junk mail - just wait & I'll show you what we get here - it puts that meagre pile to shame ;o)

I'm wishing for a big fat check to arriove in tomorrows mail for you - how does that sound?
