Three Beautiful Things This Week

Three Beautiful Things This Week was inspired by a wonderful blog that Clare writes called Three Beautiful Things. Everyday, Clare writes about 3 Beautiful Things that happen each day in her life. It's a wonderful blog! I can only hope to imitate her in a very small way.

1) Things are heading back to normal again, whatever that is! Pixie and I are back home, and Jenny is resting so that she can return to work on Monday. The ordeal of the stem cell harvest is over, and now we can get on with our lives. Pixie is happy to be home. Jenny is happy to be home. I'm happy to be home, and life is returning to normal.

2) I "met" my Bead Soup partner this week, Cindy Dolezal. She's a ceramic bead artist and jewelry designer! Her beads are on the way to me, and I hope to get hers off to her in the coming week. This Bead Soup Party is going to be fun!

3) There wasn't much snow this week. I was glad about that. It's that time of the season when the brutal cold moves in and the snow continues to float down from the skies. It's the time of the year that I'm glad to stay home. The days are getting longer, though, and that's very good! I just wish they weren't so cold and white!

Hi, I am returning to your blog after some long time away and too busy to visit my friends. I just read this post, and remembered how most people thought it was such a stupid idea when we decided to take my baby's cord blood and store it in a blood bank, in case she or somebody else will need it one day. I hope days will be bright for you this year. Happy belated new year.

Welcome back, Nicki! Hopefully, your beautiful baby will never need her cord blood, but if she does, it's there. I think it's a wonderful gesture on your part.
