Easy Peasy Wire Disc Tutorial

These little cyclonic wire discs make great components in your jewelry.
They are easy peasy, and I'm going to show you how to make them.

Here's what you need.

You need about 18 inches of 24 gauge copper wire or any other light gauge wire.  24g is a good gauge.
A mandrel of some kind.
I used a Size 3 knitting needle.
You'll also need a pair of chain nose pliers and a pair of wire cutters.
See, this is going to be easy peasy.

Make a wire bead by wrapping the wire around the mandrel.
You can either cut off the extra or tuck it in.
It won't matter.

Using your pliers, put the bead in between the edges with the hole side up.
Smash away until the wire is fairly flat.
Mine usually end up being around 1/8 of an inch high.

Ta-da!  You're done!!!
Easy Peasy!
Now, you have fun!!!
